Winter Walk of Lights at Meadowlark
5:30p to 10:00p through Dec 3, 5:00p to 10:00p from Dec 4, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, Vienna, $19 online Nov 11 to Dec 3 ($24 at the door), $24 online only Dec 4 to 31, $19 Jan 1 to 3. Half-mile walking trail of lights, stroller and wheelchair friendly. Last entry 9:30p. Tickets must be bought online Dec 4 to 31.
Bull Run Festival of Lights
5:30p to 9:30p Mon to Thu, 5:30p to 10:00p Fri to Sun and holidays, Bull Run Regional Park, 7700 Bull Run Dr, Centreville, $30 to $45 per vehicle, bought ahead online. Drive-through, 2.5 miles of lights, with a holiday village and carnival at the end. Carnival rides and camel rides cost extra. Open Thanksgiving night; the carnival is closed that night. Weather permitting.
PRCS WinterFest
10:00a to 2:00p, Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park, Brambleton. Santa, the Grinch and Frozen characters, ice sculptures, train rides, bounce houses, alpacas and a winter market with local vendors. Kids activities are free.
Holiday Teas at Oatlands
Seatings at 12:30p and 2:30p, Oatlands Carriage House, 20850 Oatlands Plantation Lane, Leesburg, $70. Dec 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20. English tea with scones, sandwiches and sweets. Gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Candlelight Nights at Oatlands
5:00p to 7:00p, Oatlands, 20850 Oatlands Plantation Lane, Leesburg, $20. Two nights, Sat Dec 19 and Sun Dec 20. Walk the decorated mansion by candlelight with live music, then hot cider and cookies in the greenhouse.
