Johnson Ranch Holiday Market
9:00a to 1:00p, Walker Butte Middle School football field, 29697 N Desert Willow Blvd, San Tan Valley, Free. The Johnson Ranch Community Association's fifth holiday market, with about 100 local artisans and vendors plus food trucks.
Christmas at Schnepf Farms
5:00p to 10:00p, Schnepf Farms, 24810 S Rittenhouse Rd, Queen Creek, $19.95 to $27.95; ages 2 and under free. The farm's holiday nights: the Illumination Express light ride, ice skating, a hayride to visit Rudolph and Santa's workshop. Open Thursdays to Sundays, then every night Dec 21 to 27.
Arizona Christmas Lights
6:00p to 9:30p Sun to Thu; 6:00p to 10:00p Fri and Sat, Valor Christian Center, 3015 E Warner Rd, Gilbert, $12.95 adults, $9.95 kids, plus tax. A walk-through show of over 2 million lights set to Christmas music on 2.5 acres, with a kid zone and a holiday drone show on select nights. Closed Dec 7, 8, 14, 15 and 25. About 25 minutes from Queen Creek.
San Tan Valley Jingle Jog Holiday 5K and Toy Drive
7:00a to 11:00a, Poston Butte High School, 32375 N Gantzel Rd, San Tan Valley. The second Jingle Jog: a holiday 5K and toy drive with a free pancake breakfast, family activities and a North Pole vendor village.
QC Hometown Christmas: Tree Lighting and Parade
6:00p to 8:00p, Queen Creek Town Center, 21802 S Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek, Free. The town's tree lighting Friday evening, with letters to Santa, photos with Santa and music, then the Christmas parade Saturday at 10:00a.
Slices with Santa at Geno's Giant Slice
4:00p to 6:00p, Geno's Giant Slice, 2510 E Hunt Hwy, San Tan Valley, Free. Santa visits and the parking lot turns into a winter wonderland, with holiday activity tables run by community groups.
