Drive-through and walk-through displays, downtown lights and the neighborhoods people drive to see, with this year's dates from each organizer. Parades and tree lightings are on Holidays.

Capistrano Lights at Mission San Juan Capistrano
10:00a to 7:00p on select days; light show nightly at 6:15p · $23 adults, $19 seniors 60 and up, $16 youth and students 5 and up, kids 4 and under free; members $10
Open select days only between Dec 18 and Dec 30; the Mission says the full schedule is coming soon. Tickets are sold online only, are good all day and include Mission admission. New this year: a projection show, The Story of the Mission in Sound and Light, on the Great Stone Church ruins. Carolers and Santa from 3:30p (Santa through Dec 23), tree lighting at 5:05p. No dogs.
